The only reason this does not really see a lot of late-game use is that while it is a good pair of gloves, it lacks any of the desired GG stats for the end game.

The Hand of Broc is an interesting source of low level dual leech, which early on you'll be lucky if you can kind of maintain zeal with it, but as you get more damaging gear, it can actually be fairly decent for sustaining your low mana skills. This works great when you’re up close and poking away in melee range. There's a lot of uniques in Diablo 2 Resurrected, so with this D2R Unique Gloves guide, the goal is to give you a handy in understanding your unique glove options in the game. Since while often under-appreciated, there are a lot of really fun options to be had in these fairly varied uniques. There’s also that cute 15% dmg to mana on enigma if you have one. While 3% leech might not fill your pool in one hit, it’s certainly adding enough that you get a pretty big rebate. The mana from Raven, SoJ, BO, and Spirit builds a mana pool that regenerates several per second. Huge ias often means you’ve tossed an extra fury before the previous one had time to kill. Sure, four LFs will kill that group of 6 monsters, but it’s not efficient. LF just doesn’t work as well with smaller packs. I think losing some ias, perhaps in addition to playing with eth Titans that don’t have an indefatigable supply, encourages technique. You can actually get away with no Raven if you’re only killing cows. You don’t have to have max ias to play a Java.

I think Java is a great example of a character with a lot of gear choices that all work, and also an example of PvP choices spilling over into PvM. I think this is a disagreement of play style (not to mention SP vs online differences) and also what we are doing with a Java. If you can’t hit a couple monsters with one piercing toss, it’s probably time to go stab and poke. I’m guessing mana leech problems are also related to machine gunning fury rather than doing a bit more herding/positioning. Not everybody wants to go that route (the lidless that is, MPK obviously works). Apparently you’re rocking a Lidless with a tir. “only way to play a LF Zon” that’s not good faith advice and probably sums up our disagreement. And the cherry on top in terms of hitting is that a Java can easily reach level 90+. Not to mention often hitting multiple times per throw from big skill bonuses that make penetrate and Pierce 1-pt wonders. Thanks bro!!! I guess what I was understanding is that even a max vita Java tends to have a lot of str/dex from bonuses that boost AR and dmg.
